Benoni Shipman

Benoni was born on March 20th, 1753 in Saybrook, Conneticutt.¹ Benoni's father was Samuel Shipman and his mother was Sarah Doty. His paternal grandparents were John Shipman and Martha Humphrey; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Doty and Hester Bemen Beamont. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel, Esther and Sarah. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joshua, Nathaniel, Clarinda, Hannah and Orphana. He died at the age of 67 on May 22nd, 1820.¹
