Ruth Ann Sherman

Ruth Ann was born on August 30th, 1861 in Richland, Spencer County, Indiana. Ruth Ann's father was Morenci Manford Sherman and her mother was Rhonda Ann DeWitt. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Sherman and Eunice Edic; her maternal grandparents were Calvin DeWitt and Nancy Shaw. She had four brothers and five sisters, named William Henry, Joseph Franklin, Charles Christopher, Ernest Devin, Clara Hulda, Nancy Eunice, Alice Abetine, Rosa Lula and Olive Arvilla. She was the third oldest of the ten children.
