Charles Christopher Sherman

Charles Christopher was born on January 28th, 1868 in Richland, Spencer County, Indiana. Charles Christopher's father was Morenci Manford Sherman and his mother was Rhonda Ann DeWitt. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Sherman and Eunice Edic; his maternal grandparents were Calvin DeWitt and Nancy Shaw. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William Henry, Joseph Franklin, Ernest Devin, Ruth Ann, Clara Hulda, Nancy Eunice, Alice Abetine, Rosa Lula and Olive Arvilla. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
