Ebenezer Sherman 
Ebenezer was born in 1712 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 Ebenezer's father was Ebenezer Sherman and his mother was Margaret Decrow. His paternal grandparents were William Sherman and Desire Doty; his maternal grandparents were Valentine Decrow and Martha Bourne. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Robert, John, Elisha, Eleazer, William, Rachel, Abigail and Elizabeth. He had a half-sister named Bathsheba. He died at the age of 74 on January 14th, 1786 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 General Notes

Note: Elizabeth Wormall had an illegitimate daughter, Sarah, recorded in the Marshfield VR: "Sarah Bruster, ales Wormwood, daughter of Elesabeth Wormwood, born 3 March 1743".
On 1 February 1785 Ebenezer Sherman of Marshfield, yeoman, deeded to son Ichabod Sherman of Marshfield one half of his homestead farm.
On 26 May 1787 Ezekiel Jones of Scituate, yeoman, and Huldah Jones his wife, sold to widow Mercy Curtis the right to estate "which Ebenezer Sharman Junr of Marshfield, yeoman, died seized of, it being one quarter of what fell to us as heirs to said real estate, excepting part to mother Elizabeth Sherman". The deed mentions the lease of father Ebenezer Sharman from sons Ichabod Sharman and Ebenezer Sharman Junr.
On 31 December 1787 Ichabod Sherman of Marshfield, yoman; Deorah Sherman; Keziah Sherman and Mercy Curtis all of Marshfield, divided the real esstate of Ebenezer Sherman, late of Marshfield.
No Plymouth Co. probate record for Ebenezer Sherman has been found.
