Thomas was born about 1581 in Ashford, Bakewell, Derbyshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Roger Sheldon. His paternal grandfather was Richard Sheldon. He had two brothers and a sister, named Arthur, George and Anne. He was the youngest of the four children. Thomas is no longer alive.1 General Notes
