Anne was born about 1577 in Ashford, Bakewell, Derbyshire, England.1 Anne's father was Roger Sheldon. Her paternal grandfather was Richard Sheldon. She had three brothers named Arthur, George and Thomas. She was the second oldest of the four children. Anne is no longer alive.1 1 General Notes
