Joseph Saunders

Joseph was born in 1617 in Downton, Wilts, England and his baptism took place in 1617 in Downton Parish, Wilts, Eng.¹   Joseph's father was John Saunders and his mother was Alice Coles. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Moses, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 72 in 1689.¹
