James H. Sasser 
James H. was born on January 8th, 1859 in Screven Co., GA.1 James H.'s father was Howell Sasser and his mother was Mary Ann Daughtry. His paternal grandparents were Howell Sasser and Susan A. Bell. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John B., Claudius, Howell O., Jane E., Cornelia Susan, Juanita, Ida G. and Mary E.. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on September 6th, 1930.1 General Notes
