William Rose

William was born in December 1876 in Cambria Co., PA.¹ William's father was James Rose and his mother was Mary Etta Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Rose and Elizabeth Helsel; his maternal grandparents were William Thomas and Lucy Elizabeth Berkebile. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Irwin, Harvey Baker, George Oliver and Elizabeth Anne. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 16 on March 4th, 1893.¹
