John Rose

John was born on April 2nd, 1873 in Cambria Co., PA.¹ John's father was James Rose and his mother was Mary Etta Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Rose and Elizabeth Helsel; his maternal grandparents were William Thomas and Lucy Elizabeth Berkebile. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, Irwin, Harvey Baker, George Oliver and Elizabeth Anne. He was the second oldest of the six children.¹
