Polly Ann was born about 1864.1   Polly Ann's father was Martin J. Rogers and her mother was Miram Kennedy.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Kennedy and Polly DeLoach. She had five brothers and a sister, named Joseph Henry Alexander, William Allen, John C., Martin Thomas, George W. and Emily S. E..  She was the oldest of the seven children.1
