Emily S. E. was born on May 23rd, 1876 in Tattnall Co. GA.1   Emily S. E.'s father was Martin J. Rogers and her mother was Miram Kennedy.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Kennedy and Polly DeLoach. She had five brothers and a sister, named Joseph Henry Alexander, William Allen, John C., Martin Thomas, George W. and Polly Ann.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 59 on September 26th, 1935 in Tattnall Co. GA.1
