Seaborn Jacob was born about 1813 in North Carolina.1   Seaborn Jacob's father was John Robinson and his mother was Jane. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John Ada, William Hutson, Elizabeth M, Christia Ann, Jane, Margaret E, Harriet M and Mary B.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.1
