Jane was born about 1815.1   Jane's father was John Robinson and her mother was Jane. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John Ada, Seaborn Jacob, William Hutson, Elizabeth M, Christia Ann, Margaret E, Harriet M and Mary B.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.1
