Amanda's father was John Rewis and her mother was Viney Boyett. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Boyett and Matilda Holland. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Mariel D., Burnese, Conway, Devoe, Roy, Marrie Belle, Lela, Audian and Debbie.-
