John Reed 
John was born in 1854 in Scott, Tennessee.1 John's father was Andrew Reed and his mother was Zilpha Buttram. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Allen, Granville, Rebecca and Clarinda. He was the second youngest of the five children.1 -
