Allen Reed 
Allen was born in 1846 in Scott, Tennessee.1 Allen's father was Andrew Reed and his mother was Zilpha Buttram. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Granville, Rebecca and Clarinda. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 17 in 1863 in Lebanon, Kentucky.1 -
