Ira Jackson was born about 1893.1 Ira Jackson's father was Callaway Jackson Purcell and his mother was Sophronia Ann Florida Surrency. His maternal grandparents were Samuel D. Surrency and Elizabeth Kennedy. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Bruce "Willie", Harvey Olan, Burrell Demre, Arlie Edward, Daisy, Iona Bessie Elizabeth, Pernilia Millie Ladas, Clyde America and Estella Maria.1 -
