Mary Jane Poyer 
Mary Jane was born on June 1st, 1828 in Vermillion Twp, Erie, Ohio.1 Mary Jane's father was Tilly Poyer and her mother was Mary Huyck. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. She had a sister named Lucy Ann. She was the younger of the two children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William Dwight, John Henry, Isaac Burr, Julia M., Caroline Isabell, Cordelia Matilda, Ellen Angeline and Helen Catharine.
