Lucy Ann was born on December 29th, 1826 in Vermillion Twp, Erie, Ohio.1 Lucy Ann's father was Tilly Poyer and her mother was Mary Huyck. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. She had a sister named Mary Jane. She was the older of the two children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William Dwight, John Henry, Isaac Burr, Julia M., Caroline Isabell, Cordelia Matilda, Ellen Angeline and Helen Catharine. She died at the age of 21 on July 8th, 1848 in Huron, Ohio.1 General Notes
