John Wilson was born on January 23rd, 1818 in Fayette Co, Ky.1 John Wilson's father was Thomas W. Peek and his mother was Francis Marshall. His maternal grandparents were George Marshall and Nancy Unknown. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named George Simpson, James T?F?, Thomas James, Benjamin D., Richard Mentril Johnson, Sarah, Mary Ann, Nancy E., Eleanor J., Frances Caroline, Isabella A., Gabriella and Francis (Fannie) Marion (Mae). He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 112 on October 3rd, 1930 in Lyon, Ky. He was buried in Peek Cem, Lyon, Ky.1 1 General Notes
