Patience Peavy

Patience was born about 1835.¹ Patience's father was Guilford Peavy and her mother was Dicey Moore. Her maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Henry, John, Thomas, William Marion, Augustus, Miriam, Mariam and America. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.¹
