Augustus Peavy

Augustus was born about 1845.¹ Augustus' father was Guilford Peavy and his mother was Dicey Moore. His maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Henry, John, Thomas, William Marion, Miriam, Patience, Mariam and America. He was the second youngest of the ten children.¹
