Mariam Peavy

Mariam was born about 1844 in GA.¹ Mariam's father was Guilford Peavy and her mother was Dicey Moore. Her maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Henry, John, Thomas, William Marion, Augustus, Miriam, Patience and America. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.¹
