John Nuckolls 
John was born in March 1781 in Hanover Co., VA.1 John's father was Charles Nuckolls and his mother was Mary Black. His paternal grandparents were James Nuckolls and Unknown Henderson; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Black and Catherine Shaw. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James, Charles, Betty, Salley, Polly, Susan and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on August 2nd, 1844 in Sangamon Co., IL.1 -
