James Nuckolls 
James was born on January 5th, 1777 in BOTETCOURT CO, VIRGINIA.1 James' father was Charles Nuckolls and his mother was Mary Black. His paternal grandparents were James Nuckolls and Unknown Henderson; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Black and Catherine Shaw. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, Charles, Betty, Salley, Polly, Susan and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on September 15th, 1859 in SANGAMON CO, Illinois.1 -
