John Nicol

John was born on February 27th, 1815 in Carluke, Lanarkshire, England.¹   John's father was Unknown Nicol. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Andrew, James, David, Jennett, Isabella, Agnes, Catherine and Jennetta.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 66 on November 2nd, 1881 in Morristown, St Lawrence, New York.¹
