James Nicol

James was born on June 14th, 1809 in Gillhead Miel, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹   James' father was Unknown Nicol. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Andrew, David, John, Jennett, Isabella, Agnes, Catherine and Jennetta.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 82 on November 2nd, 1891.¹
