Alexander Napier

Alexander was born in 1509 in Merchiston, Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian, Scotland.¹ Alexander's father was Alexander Napier and his mother was Janet Chisholm. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Napier and Catherine Douglas; his maternal grandfather was Edmund Chisholm. He had two sisters named Janet and Helen. He died at the age of 38 in September 1547 in Scotland.¹
