Lester C. was born in January 1889 in GA.1 Lester C.'s father was George H. Mulligan and his mother was Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Francis Mulligan and Eliza Lavonia Dean. He had a brother and three sisters, named George C., Hortense, Florence C. and Ruby Gertrude. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Alla Jana. He died at the age of 49 in 1938. He was buried in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
