His paternal grandparents were Lewis Morgan and Mildred Gardner; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Bailey and Grace. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William I., Christopher Lewis, David A., Henry T., Sarah, Elizabeth and Gracie.1 -
