John P. Messner 
John P. was born in 1817.1 John P.'s father was Philip Jacob Messner and his mother was Mary Magdalene. His paternal grandparents were John Messner and Anna Catharine Mosser. He had a brother and eight sisters, named George Washington, Catharine, Elizabeth, Anna, Sarah, Eleanor, Anna Maria, Mary and Susanna. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 in 1891.1 -
