James Matthews 
James was born on September 1st, 1835.1 James' father was James Matthews and his mother was Elizabeth McFarland. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Joseph, Mary Ann and Jane. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 74 in 1909.1
