George Berry Martin 
George Berry was born on December 15th, 1871 in Belair, Richmond Co., GA.1 George Berry's father was Charles Edwin Martin and his mother was Salina Margaret Sills. His paternal grandparents were James Hamilton Martin and Caroline B. Nichols; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Sills and Sara Jane Watson. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William Edwin, Charles Rosby, Thomas Sills, Eddie Weed, Eugene Starr, James Hamilton, Crawford, Paul Templeton, Sarah Crawford, Mary Lee Minnie, Ella Nora, Anna Adele and Lucy Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 73 on July 27th, 1945. He was buried in Burke Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
