Edward Hoyt Martin 
Edward Hoyt was born in 1869 in Bancroft Shiawassee Michigan.1 Edward Hoyt's father was Mortimer Bradley Martin and his mother was Martha Hoyt. His paternal grandparents were Thaddeus Martin and Mehitabel Bliss Throop; his maternal grandparents were Harry Hoyt and Mary Gifford. He had two sisters named Nellie and Evaline. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers named John M and George Bradley. He died at the age of 81 on January 6th, 1950 in Bancroft Shiawassee Michigan.1 1 General Notes

E.H. Martin has accepted a position with a large dry goods house at Chelsea, Michigan and will move his family to that place this week. Mr. Martin has lived in this place a good many years and has been in business several times. He is a good, steady man with good habits and will make the firm where he is going a very good reliable man. We regret very much to have the Martin family leave our little city.
