Mehitabel Bliss Throop

Mehitabel Bliss was born on August 3rd, 1786 in Johnstown  New York.¹   Mehitabel Bliss' father was George Bliss Throop and her mother was Abiah Thompson.  Her paternal grandfather was Reverand George Throop; her maternal grandfather was Enos Thompson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Enos Thompson, George B and Mary Ann.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named George Whitfield, Israel Thompson, Abiah, Elizabeth and Sara Louisa.¹
