His maternal grandparents were Georg Carl Fredrick Brandt and Dorothea Sophie Grambow. He had a brother and four sisters, named Carl Frederick Wilhelm, Anna Marie Antonie, Fredericke W, Marie H and Ernestine W. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on September 28th, 1939 in WOLCOTTSVILLE, New York.1 -
