Carl Frederick Wilhelm was born on May 21st, 1858 in CARMZOW, UCKERMARK, BRANDENBURG, PRUSSIA.1 Carl Frederick Wilhelm's father was Christian Frederick Mann and his mother was Hermine Wilhelmine Ernestine Brandt. His maternal grandparents were Georg Carl Fredrick Brandt and Dorothea Sophie Grambow. He had a brother and four sisters, named Frederick W, Anna Marie Antonie, Fredericke W, Marie H and Ernestine W. He was the oldest of the six children.1 -
