Hermine Wilhelmine Ernestine was born on June 20th, 1839 in Drense, Uckermark, Brandenburg, Germany.1 Hermine Wilhelmine Ernestine's father was Georg Carl Fredrick Brandt and her mother was Dorothea Sophie Grambow. Her paternal grandparents were Georg Brandt and Maria Ludke; her maternal grandparents were Christian Fredrich Grambow and Regine Hildebrandt. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Hermann, Wilhelm Friedrick Ludwig, Anna Fredericke Antonie, Emilie, Fredericke Wilhelmine and Fredericke. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 60 on December 30th, 1899 in Wolcottsville, Niagara Co, New York.1 -
