Fredericke Brandt

Fredericke was born on January 18th, 1846 in Drense, Uckermark, Brandenburg, Germany.¹ Fredericke's father was Georg Carl Fredrick Brandt and her mother was Dorothea Sophie Grambow. Her paternal grandparents were Georg Brandt and Maria Ludke; her maternal grandparents were Christian Fredrich Grambow and Regine Hildebrandt. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Hermann, Wilhelm Friedrick Ludwig, Anna Fredericke Antonie, Emilie, Hermine Wilhelmine Ernestine and Fredericke Wilhelmine. She was the youngest of the seven children.¹
