John Henry was born on January 8th, 1871 in NEAR ARGOS, MARSHALL CO., INdiana.1   John Henry's father was Peter Downey Lolmaugh and his mother was Sarah French.  His paternal grandparents were Morris Lolmaugh and Catharine N. Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Jacob m French and Mary Hittle. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jacob Morris, Peter Christopher, Joseph Wesley, Barney Albert, Harmon Clarence, Mary Lavina, Catharine Elvina, Consta Ann, Ruth Margaret, Mary Alice and Susan Jane.  He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 3 on August 4th, 1874.1
