Jacob Morris was born on April 26th, 1860 in NEAR ARGOS, MARSHALL CO., INdiana.1 Jacob Morris' father was Peter Downey Lolmaugh and his mother was Sarah French. His paternal grandparents were Morris Lolmaugh and Catharine N. Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Jacob m French and Mary Hittle. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Peter Christopher, John Henry, Joseph Wesley, Barney Albert, Harmon Clarence, Mary Lavina, Catharine Elvina, Consta Ann, Ruth Margaret, Mary Alice and Susan Jane. He was the oldest of the twelve children.1 -
