James Edward Latta

James Edward was born in February 1872 in Orange Co., N. C..¹ James Edward's father was James Osborn Latta and his mother was Eugenia Hellen Duke. His paternal grandparents were Simpson N. Latta and Hawkins Alston; his maternal grandparents were Green Duke and Mary Hall. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Ira, Sarah Everette and Julia Eva. He died at the age of 45 on January 17th, 1918 in Washington, D. C..¹
