Remer James was born on November 9th, 1889 in GA.1 Remer James' father was James Allen Kitchens and his mother was Emma Moore. His maternal grandparents were William Narissa Moore and Mary Matilda Waters. He had five brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Edgar Joseph, Roswald Alley, Robbie Lee, William R., John Wesley, Annie Maggie, Shelley Mary, Mattie Catherine, Cynthia Virdell and Morris Esther. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.1 -
