John was born in 1584 in Little Munden, Hertfordshire, England.1   John's father was John Kirby and his mother was Joan Cranfield. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Francis, William, Joan, Ruth and Ruth.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 44 in 1628 in Little Munden, Hertfordshire, England.1
