Kate Elizabeth was born on August 2nd, 1876 in St. George, Washington, UT.1 Kate Elizabeth's father was William Buten Kemp and her mother was Mary Lockwood. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Kemp and Martha Button. She had four brothers and a sister, named William Lockwood, Charles Henry (Harry), Joseph William, Elias Enoch and Isabella. She was the youngest of the six children. She had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Samuel Raymond, James, Heber, Willard Walter John, Arthur, Daniel Robert (Daneal), William, Eliza, Jane, Sarah Ann and Alice Rosemary. She died at the age of 76 on February 19th, 1953 in Salt Lake City, SL, UT. She was buried in St. George, Washington, UT.1 1 -
