Sarah Emerson Kelsey 
Sarah Emerson was born on August 22nd, 1822 in Pittsfield, Otsego, NY.1 Sarah Emerson's father was Robert Kelsey and her mother was Abigail Bennet. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Kelsey and Anna Brown; her maternal grandparents were Prince Bennett and Phoebe Mosier. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jeremiah, David Norman, Nancy Matilda, Eliza Jane, Rebecca and Abigail. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 65 in 1887.1 General Notes
