Brutus F. was born on October 11th, 1869 in Screven Co., GA.1 Brutus F.'s father was John A. Joyner and his mother was Sarah Frances Cubbedge. His paternal grandparents were William Joyner and Clary Bragg. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Johnson W., Julian Robertson, Mark S., Leon F., Mary F., Clarisa F. and Mattie V.. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 on February 4th, 1948. He was buried in Screven Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
