William Jones

William was born on October 25th, 1734 in VA.¹ William's father was Thomas Jones and his mother was Elizabeth Cocke. His paternal grandparents were Roger Jones and Dorothy Walker; his maternal grandparents were William Cocke and Elizabeth Catesby. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Frederick, Jekyll, Walter, Catesby, Lucy, Anne, Dorothea and Elizabeth.¹
