Frederick was born in 1732.1   Frederick's father was Thomas Jones and his mother was Elizabeth Cocke.  His paternal grandparents were Roger Jones and Dorothy Walker; his maternal grandparents were William Cocke and Elizabeth Catesby. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, Jekyll, Walter, Catesby, Lucy, Anne, Dorothea and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 65 in 1797.1
